Yeah, that actually looks the same on dragons without fur... It's just a really awkward design and I don't think I'll be using those "bracelets" any time soon, lol.
but... it's fur? the bracelet is just going through the fur. if it's long/thick enough I can suspend my disbelief (like with all wing apparel or all shirt apparel) that it wouldn't leave a gap in the fur. plus you wouldn't fit a bracelet to fur, you'd fit it to the form below, like a collar idk. I feel like there's "worse" apparel

Now like bracers and stuff on Tundras, yeah that looks awkward. But stuff like wristbands and jewelry with thinnish straps or pieces? Those aren't really that bad. I can easily explain that off as just what happens when you wrap something formfitting on something fluffy. Ideally there would be a little gap or shorter part to the fur where it wraps around, but that would require editing/erasing the actual dragon lineart which obviously they aren't gonna do. This though Now THIS is weird fur clipping [emoji=tundra laughing size=1]
what's wrong with it that I'm not seeing,
Exactly, that's just how fur works, I don't see the issue either. I want to know something, y'all. How exactly would you fix this? The mannequin beneath must not be altered in any way and the only way to make apparel work is to have the fur pass through and be visible. You can always pretend that the sleeves, bracelets, gloves and boots aren't fully closed off and that the fur can go through. There's an arm and a leg beneath the fur, would you really want to see gauntlets and boots as wide as someone's body just to encase the fur? It just doesn't work

Ah Flight Rising and their apparel clipping... It's a gamble, unfortunately. Tundras really get the short end of the stick with a lot of it. The funniest one to me though is this one on coatls: Not only does it clip the feathers, it clips the neck.
