Not a fan myself. I've seen too many people get worked up over 'karma' or 'internet points'. Some people can actually get quite upset. Also as many have mentioned it could be used as a major selling point on the AH.
Plus I like it when people come on my profile and mention 'hey saw your dragon on front page!' etc as it seems imo a bit more effort to praise your dragons. But now I can see that happening less.
The only positives I see are likes on meme dragons (wait can we like the deities) and using it as possible lore.
