Fandom dragons are great! I’ve got two myself, one pretty much complete and one still in progress (I still need some ideas for her, actually). I definitely see Alphonse in that design!

I agree! At first I was kinda upset that filigree covered so little but still cost the same as other gem genes. But it's starting to grow on me a little bit. I do wish it covered a lot more, because then I think we'd see a bunch more dragons sporting it, but combined with the seraph apparel it looks really cool.
