No worries, there'll be an adult around to supervise! Claws will probably be used to carve but someone's gotta make sure the pumpkin guts don't get flung everywhere. ;)

I wonder if Gladekeeper would be more okay with pumpkin carving so long as all the seeds would be passed out for later planting seasons or just replanted by those who grew the pumpkins to begin with.

Luminous and Sulfate would lead the children of the clan in a pumpkin-carving class. Dewsoft and Vitrophyre would join in (Dewsoft carving something creepy with lots of pumpkin gore spilling out, Vitrophyre carving something delicate and seasonal), though they would insist they are no longer children. Umbra would wander in partway through and help improve the tools. Glare would provide the pumpkins, then sit in the back and carve a large pumpkin by herself until the end of the class. When the pumpkins were brought up to display, she would modestly reveal that she had carved an entire map of the Tangled Wood.
At the end, Luminous would bring Borealis in to view the pumpkins. She would be very impressed, especially with those of the littlest dragons.

Ghoul would try and carve a scary face or threatening message into his pumpkin, but the face would be lopsided and the message would be misspelled.
Medjed would use his eye-lasers to burn a design into his pumpkin, like Stitch did at the end of Lilo and Stitch with his laser gun.
Merlin would carve her pumpkin into a cozy little home for her snake or frog to sleep in and would feed the seeds to her bird.
Rosamund would be the one to teach the kiddies how to carve a pumpkin.
