[/quote] I'd be 100% against this. No offense, but not everyone plays for profit and before I'd watch my dragons die I'd leave the site. Part of why I'm not fond of many other pet games. Why put so much work into something that won't last??

I think this would be helpful in cycling through specific ideas and dragons, so, yes.

I'd like to see more of them, but like DragonSage suggested, that they should be held on FR more than reddit. Though I'd still like to see them happen more regardless where they're held, so long as it's announced on the site (or somewhere) before it starts and something's posted afterward so people who weren't able to participate could see what was discussed.

What other types of zones/enemies (thus Familiars) would you like to see in the Coliseum?
Maybe more mountain or aerial zones?

Yes! One of my favourite things about Dragon Share is seeing things I don't usually stumble across. Less common breeds like plentifuls and Snappers, less common colours like Beige and Sand and Coral, apparel being used in ways that I never would have thought of, cool accents.

Would you be interested in more Q&As, similar to the one done on reddit?

The more communication and the easier to find, the better. It can be a difficult balance between not being able to give any precise ETAs or give certain information away and responding to every concern with a vague "it's been noted" or "it'll be worked on eventually," but it's good to know you're being heard!

What other types of zones/enemies (thus Familiars) would you like to see in the Coliseum?

I was wondering if the distribution of familiar races will stay so odd or more like, if there is a reason for it.

We have 35 bird-like familiars and more and more birds get added; the latest familiars were bird-like creatures again. Is that because dragons are flying as well?
Compared to fish (10), insects (12) and plants (6, though I counted the Amaranth and Leafy moth to insects), that's a lot of birds. We also have 10 wolf-type familiars out of 68 mammals. It just seems strange.

It's also noticeable that most "cute" mammals are hard to get. Speedy, for example, is retired, six are in the gem marketplace (the unicorns, the Fox Rats and the Pukasloths). The Duskrat is a Swipp familiar. I counted 22 clearly "cute" critters (though it's of course debateable what's cute and what's not) and with so many not obtainable by normal treasure means, it seems odd as well.

I'm just wondering if there is a reason behind this. I mean, I guess it makes sense that people pay gems for cute critters. But yeah, with the odd distribution rates between animal kinds as well, it's all a bit mysterious. Just wondering because while I love all familiars, I can't help but being a bit disappointed every time it's another bird. I think if it would be more clear if there's a reason for the amount of birds and wolves, that would be nice. Maybe there's a plot in the works or whatever? In my bunny familiar suggestion thread, a lot of people have expressed interest so far and I'd like to know if there's even a chance of suggesting these things.

Yes, however I think these should be done carefully, sparingly, and with clear guidelines so the community knows what to expect. Also, this is a bit of an aside but I'm amused (in retrospect) that my question during the Reddit Q&A was blatantly skipped. I can see now why it wasn't answered, but at the time it wasn't amusing at all.

I think something... shattered. Like the floating islands of the Arcane area of the map, something that makes it feel like our dragons are venturing into areas of the world that were shaped by the wild magic released when the pillar fell. Perhaps with enemies that are more blatantly Shade-twisted and 'wrong.'


And now for a question of my own - is there any ETA on account recovery for folks who got a bit messed up by the global password reset? My co-worker is getting a bit anxious because her dragons are starving and her eggs are going unincubated, but there's been no reply to her email since she sent in the information she was asked for on Monday. I figured I'd ask here before she sends in another email. :)
