Stories tell it belonged to a brotherhood of elemental wizards, each of whom experimented in their own unique fields. There may be treasures here. [columns] [center][b]Door 1[/b][/center] [b]Door 1[/b] is black & iridescent, but is otherwise featureless besides bearing a knocker, designed to look like a crow or raven. Its eyes are luminescent golden orbs and the knocker decorated with a jewel reminiscent of a skydancer's bony forehead growth. Actually, now that you mention it... the corvid knocker seems to have four antennae. It is well painted and features a pair of coatl starting a family, standing excitedly over a clutch of fiery eggs. There's a look of shock on their faces, as if they can't believe their eyes. Windchimes hang over the top, filling the space with a certain serenity. False Leaf moths rest peacefully all over the bare, unstained wood of the door, probably thinking they've fooled you by hiding in plain sight. [/columns]

They seem so happy! Your curiosity drives you to look behind the door, and there you see… oh! The coatls! But they're drenched in an unusual aura of an almost heavenly nature. They sweetly offer you a magical object: a wooden egg painted yellow with a blue mist trailing from it. Goodness, it's a boon from the gods! As you pull the handle towards you, the top of the door causes the wooden windchimes to play. The False Leaves all flutter in, momentarily obscuring your vision and battering you with teeny wings. When they finally clear, you discover you've entered a portal to the Windswept Plateau. Amazing! Song fills the air and you can see a hatchling sneaking around and trying to hide playfully among the reeds. Their wings emanate their own clinking music, a sound which betrays their game of hide and seek.
