Have you ever tried to trace your dragon's lineage. As someone who is interested in family, I have, and while it is very complicated, I find it very interesting! To start out with. You don't have to do every single dragon of their family, but just some of them. I will be doing my Gen 2 Tundra, Kimse, to start out with. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/82718067][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/827181/82718067_350.png[/img][/url] Kimse's father, Celtic, who is from the same lair. Kaida is Maroon/Beige/Ivory, and she has considerably darker colors than her daughter. Celtic is Lavender/Platinum/Denim and looks a little more like his daughter. Something I noted was that they are smaller than both their daughters, Kimse and Chathin!

[b]Vonna of the True Folk [/b]In my world, Vonna is a part of a draconic species known as the true folk. They are creatures from Arcane territory that are made of smoke and flame. They are somewhat recent and go back to around dragons that are six (real-life) years old. So I will be accounting for that. She is a year old. He is where Vonna gets the Firefly gene from. Interestingly, they are both lighter colored than Vonna herself. He is three months old. He and his mate belong to @Lionsong448. Orna doesn’t look much like her descendent with her Emerald/Jungle/Avocado coloration, but the Wildclaw is directly related to Vonna. She is unable to access her true, fiery powers, and her ancestors were unaware of the truth. But when Coriolis and Lumine had their three hatchlings. Aidan, Cho, and Vonna became the first to dive into their heritage. She belongs to @chomiji. [b]Cloud > Hermes > Nephilim > Lumine > Vonna. Cloud lives on top of the Cloudsong alongside his mate, Siren, and his fellow misfits. As a Wind-based True Folk. Cloud specializes in producing smoke and has drifted from the sky to the land. His son, Hermes lived in the Hearth as a researcher. Hermes’ son, Nephilim, dwelled in the shadows of the Arken Clan and became more distant from his heritage. While they were always more connected to the True Folk then Coriolis’s family were, Vonna’s true potential was not learned until her birth. He belongs to @CapriceNoir. And if you’re wondering what I’m going to do with Orna and Cloud’s ancestors, since they do have ancestors. My headcanon is that those dragons’ souls have been infused into the Flames of Origin. It’s fun seeing how distant these dragons look from Vonna.

[b]Bootes, Canopus, and Sundown of the True Folk [/b]These three go together since they are siblings. First of all, their parents. A fabulous Shadow dragon dwelling in Star Wood Strand. She is as gorgeous as they come with her dress and makeup. Canopus is nearly as big as her and I can’t wait for him to fully grow! Sensei dose not look as close to his children as Aeleah does, but there are still signs of his lineage through his constellation wings. He and Aeleah both belong to @Wrencat, and believe it or not, they are caring for a single egg which will be Bootes, Canopus, and Sundown’s youngest sibling. [b]Agape > Sherena > Snowfall > Zaho > Flowerbee > Vienna > Pandora > Ethel > Theia > Metzli > Twilight > Aeleah > Bootes, Canopus, and Sundown. She truly looks out of this world and it shows in every breath it takes. Living in the Twisting Crescendo, she dwells with her butterfly-winged mate Decus. It appears Imperial heritage runs on both sides. Her kin belong to the water, the ice, and the shadows, so they did not learn of their line until the birth of the siblings. She belongs to @togaedabyss. [b]Emerus > Gwyn > Nimrodeol > Sidivin > Luthien > Corvus > Iseroth > Sinsey > Bootes, Canopus, and Sundown. A dragon born under the earth, yet a part of magic. His crystalline body makes it clear to where he belongs, and when his mate, Andromeda, first laid Gwyn’s egg. It was known that they were a part of something greater. Emerus’ teachings would be passed down through a line of Nocturnes and Imperials, the magic flowing in all of them. So when Sinsey mated with Aeleah for the first time, their starry children held their legacy. He belongs to @dorianesque. Also, most of these dragons don’t have lore, so this is all conjecture on my part.

I have 3 major families in my lair, 2 of them are established while the 3rd pair are waiting to start a family of their own. I’ll start with one of my progens descendants. Please bare with me as this post will be long, sorry. This is Tanja, she’s the daughter of Rinu (my progen’s daughter) and Razor, a 6th generation Children of the Gardens descendant on his mother’s side. Tanja has a younger sister by the same name because her parents favored their newest hatchling over her. As such, the older Tanja ran away from home and joined the most notorious clan in the lair. Nightfin is the first born son of the rulers of Red Rippers, he has 1 sister and 1 half brother that he knows nothing about. Nightfin was supposed to be the future ruler of the Red Red Rippers, but his younger sister, and half brother that he knows nothing about, threaten to take his birthright away from him. Razhidra is the father to Mani, grandfather to Red, great-grandfather to Nightfin, Rage, and Reaper. @Axqu. Wow, Danica really does have a lot of lineages! I haven't really had may lineage dragons except for a ridgeback I have (in the Hibernal Den, since I cleared my old lair) who is a potential Gen 5 Night Warrior. Everyone else I have does not any have lineage I can trace from.

@Nuhae. I've never collected any glitch dragons yet. I guess they aren't really all that cheap for the Arcane Auction House, since that is where I get all my recent dragons.

@JokersKnights. Wow! That's a lot of lineages. It's really cool to see where all your dragons come from. :)

@Abysea I like how you are tracking your Progen's lineage. Also Cloudysky, she sure does have a lot of strange ancestors, doesn't she?

*AKA dragons older than six years who are ancestors and had some of their energy infused with the Flames of Origin. They are not true folk themselves.
