Gave out likes to your lovelies! Aethyra has to be my favorite - I just love the beachy Light aesthetic, and she does it so beautifully with her accent and collection of delicate pastel jewelry - but Willowsong is a very close second. That accent is such a stunning coordination with her branches! And what a fun theme! I really had to think to decide who fit it well, and ended up spotlighting a few dragons who often get passed over since they don't match up perfectly with a lot of common themes. They're not much for relaxing though; they've inherited their father's gift for numbers and spend most of their time traveling to negotiate deals as the clan's master of trade. [/columns] [columns]Smahlin is a kelpie, more at home mostly-submerged in swampy water than anywhere else. Still, she's fascinated by the trappings and trinkets of the travelers who sometimes wander by - and rather than drown them as would be traditional for one of her kind, she's taken to entreating (or, perhaps more accurately, threatening) them into sharing their unfamiliar treasures with her. @HuntingAlpha Thank you so much! Zelamar's stories are quite long, so I appreciate you reading even just a tiny bit! Thank you for the likes, too! ^^ I dropped stars on Aspasia and your unnamed Guardian as well. I love how you combined the blue and gold apparel. And your Guardian looks really good with that accent, too!

Booped all this weeks shares once again! I love how simple but effective Kasirga's appearance is, the trailing storm looks like it's directly connected to his lightning primal and it's amazing! Aethyra and Willowsong are both absolutely gorgeous gals, their apparel and accents tie the look together so well and I feel like I know exactly what they're about just from looking at them ^^ Was a tough choice this week, but I figure I should save my single dressed water-element derg for next week probably lol, so here's my three water-adjacent kids! To start with my favorite of the three, this is Cattail! He's my first NOTN hatch from last year and also first ever, and happened to be the exact color range for a project I'd been thinking about! Lore-wise, Cattail is a wild swamp dragon born from a light egg lost in the Driftwood Drag. His brain is much more animalistic and unrefined than most dragons' tend to be, but he's really a giant muscly sweetheart. (If you're a TMNT fan, think 1991 Tokka and Rahzar lol; youtube clip link in his bio if anyone's curious) He spends more time in the water than anywhere else, so he's supposed to be sort of a hidden lookout -- he tends to get distracted and do his own thing though, but his clan can't really blame him for that. ---------- This is Squall, one of my two dressed pirates, the other who will also make an appearance here lol. Squall's the ghost of a pirate captain lost to time, whose legacy and deeds have been wholly forgotten. He doesn't have much power as a spirit, but he does what he can to dramatically appear to fellow pirates and give them cryptic clues either to his own story or about rumors he's heard on the winds -- when you've been on the seas for about as long as the seas have existed, you tend to know your way around pretty well. Whether or not those rumors and clues will be beneficial is a different story. ------------ Finally this is Peril, the living pirate captain! Peril's plague heritage gave him that desire to fight and prove himself via strength, leading him to piracy as it allowed him to fight others and plunder their wares as indisputable proof of his victory, making him quite rich in the process. Not long into this career, his ship and crew were utterly destroyed in a horrific storm at sea; Peril himself was nearly lost to the depths, when a familiar spirit appeared before him and seemed to bring him back to the world of the living, placing him in the path of a passing merchant ship to a nearby shadow clan. Nursed back to health and inspired by his "vision", Peril decided to return to piracy as a force of good, using his previously "earned" money for the betterment of his new clan and defending innocents from the same kind of pirates he used to be. His name is no longer a threat to the weak, but a promise to the strong that there's somebody stronger. "Peril" indeed. ------- These weekly prompts are finally making me write down the lore that's been floating around in my head for ages lol, can't wait to see more entries!

@CatnipChaos Thanks for participating in this week’s theme! And for the compliment! Yes, I did indeed get her for 50 gems :D As I understand it, the artists and breeder have an arrangement for all those adopts through the parents who all have the same art. All of this to say that the breeder, Sinjin, working with the artists, gives the art as gifts for all the hatchlings.

Anywho~

On to your lovely dragons! All 3 have been given shiny new stars from me <3 Of them, Moss was definitely my favourite and the lore tidbit amused me :D

@Frionivalis Thanks for participating in this week’s theme! Also thanks for the compliment!

Both of your lovelies have a star from me now - though Sirenen already had one so I found someone else to spread the love to in your collection.

Either way Sirenen is certainly my favourite of your too - love the inclusion of a siren and that accent!

@Shatapatrika Thanks for participating in this week’s theme! Also thanks for the lovely compliments <3

All 3 of your wonderful dragons have already gotten a star from me, and yet still, somehow I am managing to find 3 more to like in their stead. Feels like you always have plenty of new for next time :D

Rusalka is definitely my favourite of this batch, lovely colours for a swampy guardian! Though I love the decision to go with “calm” katara lol. Along with Moana’s judging you expression through those eyes!

@Potatoad Thanks for participating in this week’s theme!

Love that new accent since the first I saw it and it looks absolutely perfect on this beauty!

@EmeraldSands315 Thanks for participating in this week’s theme!

All the frogs! Also, adorable idea to have an entire area’s frog population as a guardian’s charge.

@BirdWings Thanks for participating in this week’s theme!

All 3 of your lovelies now have shiny boops to their stars - though one was from a previous visit, so that love has been spread to another in your collection.

That one is also my favourite of your three shares this week: Romeria! He’s so very pretty with his intricate jewelry and sylvan wings~
