Somebody needed to - people would just buy clothes or jewelry or toys from whatever peddler wandered by, and if that peddler didn't have what you wanted, you had to either make it yourself, get a clanmate to do it for you, or do without. Now, she's got steady supply lines going, regular customers for the clan's products and regular suppliers for the clan's needs, and she's making a tidy fortune of her own while she's at it. When you're trying to get people to help you make your crazy plans happen, it really helps that your mom founded the whole clan.

As a nature dragon he sometimes comes to trouble with traveling plague dragons, but many of the locals quite like his establishment, so he has enough friends to keep any rowdy troublemakers in check.
