[center]I think outside of cry/facet, petals because so popular because of the patterns, and that it was part of a very fancy gem gene set with accent colors and tones! As we've gotten more multi-color genes, I think the hype died down very suddenly, especially as I and a number of users seemed to agree petals was actually too busy for us to like anymore versus some of the new genes...
I still actually have a whopping total of nine petals dergs, but most are just out of sentimentality at this point,,,

Truthfully I only have three dragons with petals, but I love them both and they’re both rescues! Zuko’s is covered by his skin, though cause he IS a fan dragon and what better way to show off a snarky and rude Fire Nation prince from Avatar: The Last Air Bender? Second one is Innocence, a sweetie who loves animals, then her friend Rosemary.
