Is there a way - for example - that I could search for a merchant Shadow clan, or do I just ping everyone who is interested in hearing from a reclusive Nature clan and hope one of them is a merchant Shadow?

Also, that is a very good question, and once I have not thought about myself XD!
In this case what you'll want to do is ping merchant clans and clan general pinglist and hope someone comes up~

I'll probably add a note that says you can ping the general and exact pinglists under Dragon Flights for Clan Flights as well so people should expect that too. It would just be easier for now rather than creating a whole new page for Clan Flights specifically. So that's also something you can do~
