@fistfulofdragons Why not make the primary and tertiary colors just deal with precious metal colors (like copper, tarnish, and well, metals)?

It had been a while since I saw active breeders, so I made them into a subspecies in the hopes of reviving interest. Saving for posterity while I use the previous to make room for front page overflow @/nightwolf95 I've thought about copper because there's copper jewelry apparel on the site, but I don't think those dragons exist yet. Creating a variant that doesn't even exist on FR feels kinda silly. Is that weird? I guess I'm basing it off the perceived color of the dragon and not the name of the color on the color wheel alone, partly for lore reasons. Like, what metal [i]is[/i] metals anyway? Brass? So that's why it didn't make the initial cut when I was trying to consider variants. Gold was the only one I could include confidently, because I've seen someone with gold dragons like the example so I know it works Is that a weird thing to be picky about? I know other metal-themed subspecies just use the color name and leave it at that. Hmmm.... @fistfulofdragons that's okay I'm just as picky when it comes to my sub-species (lore reasons) that I'm creating. I just wanted to know what was and wasn't allowed for yours. that way if I found a fae that I liked I could come back here and ask you about it. My personal taste would be for the metals fae though

@nightwolf95 I've only ever seen silver and gold Fae like this in the wild, and even the silver ones have been an expensive pain to set up decent breeding pairs for, so if you do see dragons with other metals that fit the pattern, definitely let me know! Feel free to make the metals variant a reality :O

@fistfulofdragons Okay... much as I usually (extremely) dislike Fae dragons... after reading your lore, I can't help picturing a Guardian with a Jewelry Box sitting on it's head staring tiny gemstone eyes into a much larger and more expressive face. So, please, when you get up and breeding, I'd love to be given a shout. And if you ever do create Darksteel, having looked myself for giggles... @Lyathali Oo, it does! And good black/x/black dragons will probably be easier to find than silver/x/silver. It's definitely feasible to get a pairing going for those! Not that I have the lair space right now, but it's a thought
