Cryoluxa Not all teacup dragons are that expensive! Just look up the brown/pink/green ranges on the AH, and you can find quite a few dragons who are student teacups! Just this morning, I saw three little ones for 5kt each who are each only a few off from true teacups!
--edit--
I personally suggest making the ranges:
sand- copper
coral- pearl
pistachio- moss
This yields the most results, but honestly, any variations within that should work if you are patient enough!

@GrinningWolf24
Ah, I see. Thanks for letting me know! I might just pick one up. :)
Edit: There's a kind of tea I saw once that actually turned the drink kool-aid blue. It was amazing! Lavender/butterfly flower combo. Think there would ever be a variant like that? Like, maybe something like this...

Or this

White/Lavender/Robin
It was just the most interesting tea I'd seen, and from what I hear, it's sweet. So I thought I'd bring it up.

I like the idea of having a deviant subspecies or two. (provided that there are more 'regular' teacups than deviant subspecies) Perhaps they may have strayed from the true light of our teacup deity for various reasons? How about more 'specific branches' for the three main kinds of tea? (Black, green, and red, respectively) And there's the 'general' tea dragon, with all three colors.
Also perhaps 'honorary' flight members that don't fit the colors/criteria persay, but in lore?
See, I'm new to the flight, but I know a lot about the teas, soooo allow me to summarise. Black tea is made with tea leaves that are oxidized till black, which gives it a lot of oomph. LOTS OF CAFFINE. (Earl Grey, Pu'er)
Bridging the gap between Green and Black teas, we have Oolong. Oolong's processing starts by letting the leaves wither under the sun. They are then picked, and packed. They are oxidized less than black tea, so less caffine. (Darjeeling, TieGuanYing)
Green tea is made with the same kind of plant as black tea. It is not allowed to oxidize at all, so it's plucked right off the tea-bush and heated (dried) right after harvest. There's still that good ole caffine content in it, just not as much. (Matcha)
Finally, we have the 'red' teas. Red teas are actually a general umbrella term for all herbal/floral teas. The ones made with flowers, bark, fruit, and other cool stuff. Usually considered to be very low to no caffine teas. (Rooibos, Chamomile)
I like to consider myself a bit of a tea-holic, sooooo TAKE THESE TEA FAN-DREGS. (hehh tea pun)
I'm really not a green tea kind of person, but when I do have it, these kinds of teas are really great, crisp, and uplifting. I also love honey in my green tea.
