I just recently acquired this lovely boy and I was thinking of finding him a mate to try for some lovely Cyclonus babs, with maybe potential Shattered Glass Optimus since well he's purple. Now the question is do I go a female that is in the purple range for primary and secondary and then grey ish range for a tert? Or do I go and all purple range. Since well for Cyclonus he's typically in the mostly purple range or within the mostly purple and some grey/black range. Having a grey range would work for the SG Optimus or potentially Skywarp even. I'd say go for one with a grayish range in tert. More flexibility on getting an SG Optimus or Skywarp out of it.

@Kellendraysia I'de go with grey as well, as the color range between purple and grey is pretty short, with just black in between. The chances of an ugly hatchie is pretty low in my opinion.

@Kellendraysia I also really like the idea of the grey. And also agree that there would be more flexibility with the outcomes, and the range between is short and pretty appealing. I wish you good luck finding the right female!
