Hello, hello, hello! I’m so glad to be writing to you this year! I’ve been tasked with guiding your brave warriors to our mother, as well as writing this letter. It’s been a blast! Everyone is so much fun, and they ask lots of questions. They love to see everything here in the tangled wood. In fact, they’re so excited they keep wandering off! It’s actually a bit of a hassle to keep them all in one area. Don’t worry, though. I won’t let them get lost! My bright eyes will light the way. As long as everything is well lit, they’ll be able to see and explore to their heart’s content. Without me, I expect they’d become horribly lost! But I am keeping my eyes on them. So, there’s nothing to worry about.
We’ve been traveling for a few days, and have set up camp in a large clearing. There’s plenty of space for them to explore [b]safely[/b], so they don’t wander. Last time a group left, it took a few hours for me to find them. You wind dragons just love to do that, don’t you? It’s all fun and games when you’re on the open air, but our woods are much harder to navigate. I anticipate it will take a much longer time to adjust themselves to this place. In the meantime, I am keeping them under control and occupied. In fact, I’ve distracted them with hide and seek so I could write this letter. They love games just as much as a native shadow dragon! Once I finish this, we’ll be on our way to Mother. I’m sure she’ll have plenty of fun with them.
Okay, that should about wrap it up.. Hm? Oh my, the clearing is empty! Helloooooo? When did they wander off? Perhaps a game like hide and seek wasn’t such a good idea after all. This is quite a predicament! Those who aren’t native to our dear area are prone to getting hopelessly lost. In fact, I think I hear screaming now. It’s very far away.. I’m almost impressed with how far they got. But, never fear! I shall retrieve in due time. They can’t have gone too far, and my light will beckon them out of hiding. But now I must go now. The night awaits! And so do your poor, unguided brethren. Oops, another scream! I’ll update you later!

Hello dear heart. Margaux here, and as promised here is my letter. Your clan-mates survived the trip home, though they did look a little green as they departed from the ship (I thought you Water dragons liked travelling via water?) and they looked very pleased to be joining the groups of volunteers camping out in the Forum.
I observed them as they settled in and got to know their fellow volunteers. Those of us who were granted the honour of collecting the volunteers were all nearby and watching as the sun set. The volunteers seemed a little weirded out by the Woods night-time noises, but we all assured them that they were normally just small creatures this deep into the Woods. I do feel that they slept a little better after hearing that.
After a day of orientation and learning the basic things needed to survive here, we let them loose to explore to their hearts content. You’ll be glad to know that your clan mates managed to stumble into the nesting grounds of a beast clan not 5 minutes after we let them go. The silly dears did scream so loudly that they woke up the poor babies and the mothers appeared and were not happy. It took a little while to calm them, and it turned out that your silly ones didn’t pay attention to the friendly beast clan guide we gave them. Ah well, live and learn.
The most funny thing happened later that very same day, the beast clan that they managed to rile up came and asked them to a celebration they were having that night. I encouraged them to go and I’m now waiting for them to be brought back by the clan members………..

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Avalon, and I have been voluntold offered my services in reporting on the affairs of the volunteers you sent us.
I am pleased to inform you that we have arrived safely in the Tangled Wood, though surely you noticed the delay in this letter's arrival. The journey back from your region takes quite a long time, particularly with so many dragons to escort. It seems this trip was the first away from home for many of your clan-mates, and they spent an unscheduled amount of time inspecting all the interesting new things they saw along the way. The escort party found your volunteers quite charming! We enjoyed the opportunity to see the realm through their fresh eyes. In any event, we arrived quite far behind schedule and bearing significantly more, ahem, things than when we departed. Our own collectors and artisans are quite pleased with the state of material chaos collected in the Forum right now.
Many of us here in the Wood hatched down in the Icefield ourselves, and offered to act as guides for your clan-mates. Under watchful eyes, the adventurous among them have taken to exploring all the dark corners of Shadowmom's domain, further adding to their collection. I am personally chaperoning a contingent of icicles through the Bramble. They mentioned in a very impressive stage whisper that they wanted somewhere cold and quiet to explore. So here we are!
Or, rather, here we were.
Oh, dear. It seems the icicles have gone off on their own to discover something new, despite of my warnings! I must admit, this is not a particularly safe place to find oneself lost. Many tricksters live down here and inexperienced dragons could find themselves in quite a mess!

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Avalon, and I have been voluntold offered my services in reporting on the affairs of the volunteers you sent us.
I am pleased to inform you that we have arrived safely in the Tangled Wood, though surely you noticed the delay in this letter's arrival. The journey back from your region takes quite a long time, particularly with so many dragons to escort. It seems this trip was the first away from home for many of your clan-mates, and they spent an unscheduled amount of time inspecting all the interesting new things they saw along the way. The escort party found your volunteers quite charming! We enjoyed the opportunity to see the realm through their fresh eyes. In any event, we arrived quite far behind schedule and bearing significantly more, ahem, things than when we departed. Our own collectors and artisans are quite pleased with the state of material chaos collected in the Forum right now.
Many of us here in the Wood hatched down in the Icefield ourselves, and offered to act as guides for your clan-mates. Under watchful eyes, the adventurous among them have taken to exploring all the dark corners of Shadowmom's domain, further adding to their collection. I am personally chaperoning a contingent of icicles through the Bramble. They mentioned in a very impressive stage whisper that they wanted somewhere cold and quiet to explore. So here we are!
Or, rather, here we were.
Oh, dear. It seems the icicles have gone off on their own to discover something new, despite of my warnings! I must admit, this is not a particularly safe place to find oneself lost. Many tricksters live down here and inexperienced dragons could find themselves in quite a mess!

I am writing you to express our thanks for your coming to our masquerade last week, and to update you on what your transferred acolights have been up to. thus far they've settled in well - or as well as one would expect Light transfers to settle into a pitch-black environment.
They had trouble finding their way at first, and several times a local had to stifle someone's attempt to illuminate their way, but their eyes have become accustomed and they've started learning our paths. At least, there's fewer going missing now than before. They're all eventually found as the Wood naturally directs lost souls to a local's lair, but the number of incidents has ben decreasing steadily.
Furthermore, several of them have already taken to our ways, and the younger ones frequently play and prank each other as well as our kids. They seem to be having fun, which is the least we would expect. However, a few days ago one of them showed up with a strangely-glowing box and nobody could figure out what it was for. No one could stop it from glowing, and it glows too bright for any of us to-
