So began several months of trawling the AH, finally ending up with this guy. He used to be named "Plushy", if I recall right. [*] Wasn't sure what to do with him for the longest time either, until the Valentine's items were released. He's now a wedding planner and coordinator. [*] Calm and cool, very easy to talk to. Soothing presence, but also efficient and professional. Definitely the sort of person you'd want to have in charge of your big day. [*] He'll handle pretty much any theme you throw at him, but his personal favorites are beach weddings. He likes the fresh air. [*] Very fashionable. Stuff just fizzed out when it got near him (though it'd start working again once out of range). This included magical artifacts and hostile spells. Magical beings (like dragons) would be unable to cast spells near him. Fully magical beings (e.g. elementals) would start feeling ill near him and would be forced to move away. [*] Parents were [i]very concerned[/i], and he had a very sheltered childhood while they brought in researchers and mages to figure out what, if any, was wrong with him. He was still very loved and was quite pampered, but it was [i]so, so boring, you guys[/i] for him. [*] A small faction of Nature dragons saw this as a threat (dragons are inherently magical beings -- a dragon who can naturally nullify magic must be an abomination!) and attempted to abduct him. The clan rallied to repulse them, and was successful. Abdul was largely shielded from these proceedings and saw no violence, though he could [i]hear[/i] what was going on. The incident was the most exciting thing that'd happened to him in years, though, and it had a lasting impact on him. [*] Learned to control his null-magic field (Ringlets changes to Firefly tert -- depth of field can be determined by the orange motes of lights swirling around him). He can even briefly turn it off when necessary. [*] Was deemed no longer dangerous: just another dragon with a slightly oddball ability. He was in his late teens by then and was tired of being cooped up at home, so he asked his parents if he could travel on his own. They figured he would find a nice, respectable clan to settle down and spend the rest of his boring life in, so they said yes. Is especially interested in more exciting/dangerous/crazy stuff.
