I'd definitely love to give one of their hatchlings a home if you decide to breed them! But no rush since I'm always short on lair space. . . I'm considering finding new homes for a few dragons I've had around for a while, but not sure if I'll do a purge or just keep saving xD
Good luck on your breeding projects as well! I've been working on one for nearly a year now and am almost done with them, just waiting to hatch the male for the pair!

awaicu No problem! Lemme know when you're ready to start accepting new dragons again, and I'll put Zela and Nairu on a nest. Btw, when you decide to do a lair purge, I'd love to receive a ping. Some of your dragons might fit in my lair -- and I agree; it's difficult to decide if I want to purge or save some. I've found that if I'm on the fence, it's better to save them. So at least later I still have them if I decide I like them after all, and there's always the option to boot them if I fall out of love again.

Oh my goodness, that is so well put together! I would absolutely love to go to the Crispy Pheonix, it sounds like the perfect place to chill and enjoy a wonderful meal! If I were going, I'd probably order the roasted antelope (I'd go for the Duck in Sunbeam Sauce, but I'd be a little wary about the pollen as I don't entirely know what kind of pollen I am allergic to) with a Tropical Blast! You really pulled this together well and described it in a way that makes me really want to go, even though I am not a dragon...

Petall A lot of these recipes are definitely possible IRL -- the tropical blast is good ol' fruit punch, for example. And instead of roasted antelope, you could probably substitute lamb or beef. Sunbeam sauce...I'm thinking that IRL, instead of pollen you could probably have vegetables or spices instead. I just finished reading both of your new stories. *wipes away a tear* Xialanthe‘s story was so beautiful and I love the idea you worked with that objects take on a life of their own over time. It was also cool to see so many of your dragons appearing and interacting in one story. Its truly a beautiful work of writing! Of course, Serewood’s story was also awesome to read and I wonder how many plant like characteristics she has retained in her new form?

tsukumogami. I've always found it a fascinating concept, and wondered what would happen if pieces of individual tsukumogami got melded into a new object -- Xialanthe's story is the result.
It was a lot of fun to throw the characters against each other; I think Faust and Aloysius make a great team, with Camillus actually being a wilder card than I'd expected. And hey, that's an excellent question about Serewood! I'll have to consider that for the continuation of the story. That could make for some interesting developments!

Could meet...perhaps Veritas, but honestly I think her running into more than a few of yours would be interesting. There's a little more on her in my lore thread! I know there are other choices, but at least thematically I feel as if running her into Veritas would be best. Aleksey struggles with her heritage and what she truly is; she also has access to a strong power but it will kill her if she takes advantage of it too much. She's a bit odd, but that's alright.

They assist each other in their work (Sagrad has grown up to be a model), and while they spend less time together than they used to, they remain close. The effects wear off some time after the words are spoken, but by then it's too late for most dragons.
Certain beings can bypass this jinx, and if a dragon knows that it's there, they can circumvent it with spells. Indra and Vritra can also understand each other perfectly without magical assistance. Luka's and Talji's being related to each other was a complete surprise. (I was going to breed Luka with someone else and went "What the [i]huh?![/i]" when I saw Talji's name was grayed out.)
Lukannon is younger than Taljiwald by some years and they are second cousins once removed. Neither dragon is aware of this relationship: while Lukannon is completely oblivious, Taljiwald feels a strange connection to him and sometimes follows him around out of curiosity. Lukannon has also inherited some nature spirit abilities: He is an incredibly good swimmer, has some mastery of Water magic, and is nearly immune to drowning.[nextcol][color=transparent]...[/color][nextcol][right]

Hailing from the Cathedral of Eyes, Indra and Vritra were cursed at the moment of their hatching: Indra tells only the truth, which nobody believes; and Vritra tells only lies, which everybody believes. The effects wear off some time after the words are spoken, but by then it's too late for most dragons.
Certain beings can bypass this jinx, and if a dragon knows that it's there, they can circumvent it with spells. Indra and Vritra can also understand each other perfectly without magical assistance. Despite their jinxes being complete opposites, they aren't much different from each other and get along very well.

» LUKANNON & TALJIWALD | distant cousins
Luka's and Talji's being related to each other was a complete surprise. (I was going to breed Luka with someone else and went "What the huh?!" when I saw Talji's name was grayed out.)
Lukannon is younger than Taljiwald by some years and they are second cousins once removed. Neither dragon is aware of this relationship: while Lukannon is completely oblivious, Taljiwald feels a strange connection to him and sometimes follows him around out of curiosity. Lukannon has also inherited some nature spirit abilities: He is an incredibly good swimmer, has some mastery of Water magic, and is nearly immune to drowning.

These siblings were hatched in Clan Elysia and came to the Disillusionists as part of an alliance agreement. They were both once thought to be Water Adepts; their interests and talents have diverged since then and they now work in very different fields. In spite of this, the two siblings maintain a very good relationship. Poseidros frequently checks in with his sister when he is ashore, and she, in turn, always prepares supplies that he can take along on his next journey.

Although Rime and Tempest really do have the same mother, this is one relationship that's probably better off being ignored for the sake of lore. Sort of. Their mother is named "Cryos", and I like to think that she's actually a huge, icy mega-spirit who was able to produce these fierce elementals.
