Anathaema reclined back with a smile, her newest progeny sat playing with eachother in front of her - this had been an arduos experience, for one of the eggs had been very fragile indeed, she did not worry - worry was not something she had, much like sanity in truth but what was insanity if not perhaps truth?
but both of them had survived - Atrion had been born from a healthy egg and a true beauty did he look, but she saw in his eyes the same cunning gleam and lurking madness kindred to her own and she smiled.
Dear Little Atrion would go far it seemed.
the other, Caradras had been born of the ill egg - his skin mottled with blue scales like that of frostbites touch yet they did not harm him, like herself and his brother he carried the gleaming skin of varying red shades but raised and mottled like fine scars - the blue underneck belied his ability, for her ill-born son could spit an acidic blue substance - she'd seen it burn layers of metal.
but his physical appearance was not all there had been too him, no he took more after his father - hellfire ran in his blood and she could see it flicker in his eyes, the way he'd tormented some of the prisoners aboard the Novis tenebris with simple words, turning friend against friend in seconds with a sibilant honeyed tongue for all that he was young.
she smiled in triumph, but a noise beyond her flesh rotten thrown caught her dark gaze.
Ausar stood solid in the entrance, trading words with Xerender - the Crusader of her sister had seemingly chosen a new path, it made her amused if anything, she'd stolen her sister's favourite general or so it seemed - she was brought away from these thoughts as the fire and brimstone dragon entered with a bow of his head to her.
Lord of hellish legions he might be, but he knew when he was outmatched - good.
she tipped her head and the father of these two children closed his eyes and nodded, moving to take the children, he would find them homes - and her plague & Influence would spread further.
perfect.
Both gone!
