I'm having the same issue with Embracing Diversity that several others have had. It's been over a day, so I'm pretty sure it's not just a timer delay.
A friend of mine got the collection achieves (for the chess set, dolls, and runestones) yesterday after having had them in his hoard for well over 24 hours. He sent them to me after that, and it's been more than 24 hours since then. I have not received those achievements yet.

Update on my particular situation: I just got my Worth Something Someday achievement, though it was about a day late. -shrug- Maybe some patience is all that's needed...?

I am not getting my chess pieces achievement, though I now have all the pieces. I got the final one after achievements were re-enabled.

I've had all the chess pieces since before the achievement was unlocked. I tried selling one of the pieces so I wouldn't meet the requirements, then I bought it back again to see if that would activate it. No such luck.

Suppose I should report in as well. In Tune with the Runes has not activated yet and it's been over 2 days, and just a bit less time waiting with the Worth Something Someday, also not activating for me.
