The Rules
Things I will draw:
I love drawing dragons, both feral and anthro! I also love intricate armor and jewelry and such, though their design might not be 100% true to FR's and may be up to my own interpretation for the sake of artistic expression, composition, aesthetic cohesiveness, and so on.
Things I will not draw:
I will not draw anything against
FR's rules about Art Commissions, modern military themes, and real individuals. I don’t like drawing obscure jokes, most fanart, or fan characters. Please look through
my DeviantArt gallery and picture how your commission might fit into the rest of my art.
I do not do business with minors.
Production:
- First, read these rules completely!
- Fill out the Order Form at the bottom of this post to pitch your commission. I’ll respond if I’m interested!
- We’ll communicate further via DMs or here in this thread.
- Price and payment or a payment plan will be established and agreed upon by myself and you.
- The usual workflow is like this: Thumbnail WIP, Sketch WIP, Color WIP, Details (Finalized)
- “Work in progress” or WIP images are provided based on the level of detail of the commission which is determined on the commission order form.
- Please only request edits on WIP drawings. Edits after the Finalized stage will cost extra unless it's something I feel like I missed (such as a key feature of a character, a prop that was originally requested but not included, etc).
- Time to completion varies depending on level of detail and my IRL schedule.
- No due-dates.
Payment and Pricing:
- PayPal only.
- Complexity of the commission (patterns, wings, environment, props, costume, etc) increases the pricing.
- Payment is due upfront.
- Maximum price of Flight Rising commissions is capped at $200, this is because I will not sell prints of Flight Rising content, and I'd rather not spend too much time on something I cannot sell in this way.
- Edits: Between WIP images, edits are free. I can charge the client more depending on how intensive the edits are after the final drawing is sent. The "final drawing" is the drawing rendered to the agreed amount that was made at the beginning of the commission process after the initial payment was made. For example, do not change a black and white sketch drawing to a fully rendered illustration partway through the process or at the end of the process, as I'd have to make many alterations in order to do this.
- Keep in mind the price cap of $200 please!
Refunds:
- If I complete the drawing there is no refund.
- If I am unable to complete the drawing, a full refund will be issued.
Artist's Terms and Rights:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- All work that is displayed online will include my watermark and/or signature, removal of this will result in the client being blacklisted (however using my work as a social media avatar is ok if it crops out my watermark and/or signature, be sure to credit me in some manner).
- Should poses/compositions be rejected by the client, I have the right to recycle them for future projects or commissions. Character designs and anything else belonging to the client will not be included in this.
- I reserve the right to use created artwork to self advertise within the rules of Flight Rising's ToS.
- Altering the artwork and/or claiming it as anything but my work will result in being blacklisted.
- The client does not hold the right to resell or earn money using my work.
