I'm on the team that it seems to be a mistake with a layer (as if they didn't use a layer opacity and instead used something like color/colorburn)when they were creating it.
Resulting in dragons that look like this

Monako That's a matter of opinion though. None of the genes, not even this one, look like a mistake
to me. I can see it being weird with the transparency on some breeds and colour combos, but for the most part I love how a lot of these supposedly ugly dragons look.

To whoever fixed Thylacine....THANK YOU SO MUCH. It works wonderful on most combinations. Of course some still are weird but what can you do unless it's custom done for darker colors.
