Welcome, one and all, to my brand new, overhauled makeable board!
You probably know me from my Art by the FRaraoh boards. If not, where have you been during my two years on FR?! :P

Nah, I kid. I don't post much in anywhere but the Creative Forums so yeah.


Anywho, I've been cluttering up my main art thread with a bunch of stuff, makeables being one of 'em, so I decided to ditch the old makeable threads and create this one!



Like all art, there are some rules and guidelines. They're easy to follow, trust me. If you decide to color them, please read them so things are kept within FR rules. I don't want anyone to get in trouble, nor to have to remove my makeables because of inappropriate stuff being edited in.


I also have some content warnings because I know that not everything I draw is everyone's cup of (drink of choice - I don't drink tea, so I feel you all out there).

If you go to my other art threads, please keep in mind that these warnings will most likely be the same, if not have even more involved.


Warnings for:
Claws scraping objects, minor body horror (mostly eyes and possibly split / multiple limbs), dark designs, minor to mild violence (but no blood), insect features (non realistic).


UPDATES:

As of 9/2/23, I am opening sponsors for MODERN GENE BASES! These will be open for any modern breed, and if you have a possible pose in mind (or want to see one posed like one of my current bases), let me know, otherwise I will draw them how I see fit. Key words such as "friendly", "chewing a bone", etc, are also welcome~

Program(s) used?

MSPaint. :) Transparency used Krita. Some were actually drawn traditionally and scanned + redrawn digitally, also with Krita. Those will have notices for sizes.



Why?

Idk. I was bored. xD They help me come up with new ideas for OCs, designs, and just plain give me something to do if I wanna reach out of my comfort zone (especially since comms aren't working out atm).

If you want a certain gene (including a mixture of Ancient only genes - so things like Wraith for Banescales; Genes that modern species cannot have), you will have to pay to sponsor them, 20g each. Some genes will have a new base, as well as an edited version of the "Basic" base; These genes will cost more due to new base alone; 100g each. They CAN be sponsored by the same user, and 120g will pay for both an edited AND the new base. [i]Gene and base prices DO stack! Due to all the sponsored genes being Tertiary Genes, they canNOT be mixed into one makeable. [u]Monsters:[/u] Feel free to request a creation! However, please keep in mind I'm trying to avoid major gore/body horror and certain phobias, so don't ask for things with lots of eyes, holes, or realism. I most likely won't draw many insectoid features (I can't draw bugs well and actually have a slight fear of spiders in particular), but expect a lot of long claws and teeth. Due to the claws, the possibility of "claws on objects" is 99.9 percent if not 100 simply because I can't resist that temptation, LOL. NOTE: I will NOT draw blood, but if you want to color them with such, I won't deny you that right since these are otherwise for anyone to use. Just please take precautions so no one gets in trouble or hurt. Since these are not related to anything in particular, including fandoms or personal OCs, you are free to color however you want and even give them names and their own chars! I'd love to see if any of these beasts have an even more sinister appearance (or maybe a more friendly side). Yeah, go ahead, I'm not sure what else to post, lol. xD I was kinda all over the place so yeah, it's fine~ I think other things will be something more along the lines of character requests, so not for this board in particular. :3


Tbh, I've been super wanting to try the familiars, but never did until yesterday~ I wanna do more as well, but may not be able to today. No work training, but I'll be going somewhere with no internet later so can only do trad work without refs. xD

Added a Bonepicker base. Eventually want to do one that's not a clawed creature, LOL.

Added another Abb base. :P
