Blossom is a family-oriented dragon, enjoying taking the time to write and visit her sprawling, extended family scattered about Sornieth.
She has a long, storied lineage, and the many consequences of such a heritage harms more than helps. She has cataracts in both of her eyes, and relies on her service animal when traveling long distances or unfamiliar territory; she is also prone to dehabilitating migraines whenever the air pressure drops or rises too far or fast. She doesn't let her physical ailments keep her from living presently, contentedly, and quietly.
She writes regularly to her great-great-grandfather, an archmage of unnerving power, and when her health permits it, she travels to the Starwood Strand to visit him and her family. She always returns to the Rising Sun, despite the numerous attempts to keep her in Patera. She maintains that the fair, even weather of the Sunshine Ruins are less burdensome for her sensitivity to air pressure in comparison to the natural fluctuations of energy in the Starfall Isles. Each time she prepares to leave, Starbound sends her off with a hug, a reminder to write, and a promise to visit again soon.
When Blossom had immigrated to the Rising Sun, she did not expect to find a distant relative, Apricot, already living there. She indulges Apricot's bug-enthused rambling, and they can be found looking for bugs together. (Blossom keeps the fact that she likes snacking on bugs to herself.)
Sometimes, she dreams strange dreams of red skies and gore-soaked ground and a silky whisper in a language unknown, but they never linger long after she wakes. She attributes them to... that side of the family.

Beyond Arcane Skies :: Generation 4 The Fractures A binding spell has been cast, an entire generation of dragons affected... This generation is normally known by the literal fractures in their magic, where arcane essence seems to ooze from their very core and taint their natural one in unpredictable, sometimes harmful ways.
