Ioli
Ioli is a crystal healer, which means she believes in the healing power of her crystals...And only her crystals. To her benefit, the placebo effect can be extremely powerful. But for the most part, the shiny rocks she sells dragons don't do very much. Especially once gem experts like Thyst and Jasper examine what she's selling and realize most of them aren't even the rocks she claims them to be.
Ioli strongly believes that her crystals cure all remedies, both mental and physical. She believes they solve all earthly problems, from a breakup to the worst diseases. And that makes her a wrench in the debate between the modern healers and the herbal healers. She thinks Xenthosia is wrong because herbs can't heal all, her crystals can. She thinks the healers like Vachel are wrong because medicine can't heal all, her crystals can.
Luckily, everybody more or less just considers her a quack. She's really obnoxious and pushy about dragons buying her crystals from her. She's very persistent and will keep insisting and persisting until they purchase crystals and take them off her hands. Despite how much she claims the healing power of her crystals, it seems that her real main priority is making money and showing off shiny rocks.
