Biography
Lucky Sage
One of the Apostles of Ouroboros, aka the eight dragons directly under Quaternion. All Apostles' tattoo numbers are 9s.
Wears a mask in conjunction with the cover to fully hide the face. Identity is an unknown, but Myson's loyalty to the cause is not. Whenever someone asks about Myson's gender, Myson just say it's obvious, so not even Quaternion knows Myson's gender and others just try to avoid using pronouns as much as possible so they can avoid accidentally offending Myson.
The most superstitious one of the lot. Genuinely believes in the cause, regardless of who leads it, and is a "BURN THE HERETIC" kind of fanatic. This probably stems from the fact that Myson is quite sensitive towards hearing The Entity's voice and helps Quaternion decipher its whispers and visions. This also means that if the leadership is at all perceived as deviating from the cause or The Entity's will, Myson will not hesitate to try and take over to steer the Sages back to their "original goals".
Serves as one of Quaternion's well-trusted advisors (the other one being Thales, of course). Myson checks in with the different sects and is generally a nuisance to anyone doing the actual work. Most cultists don't quite know what Myson does or believe Myson only helps Quaternion to divine The Entity's will, but Myson also does all the social connections behind the scenes. Myson sets meetings and screens the other members' intentions when they request private meetings for secret matters.
The mask is just something Myson had worn since childhood and wearing it over the cover was not a problem. Myson mostly went with the colour scheme for the outfit, and the mantle gives off a special incense that lets Myson and Quaternion better hear The Entity. The patterns are symbolic of The Entity's power and influence as well as important symbols for the Sages.

Learned Sage Taken in by the cult as an orphan and raised to become a loyal Apostle. Typically silent, unless he's discussing and debating scripture. Has memorised it, probably because he wrote it. |

Celebration Sage During religious (read: cult) services, Periander is the one actually carrying out the rituals while Thales reads the scriptures. In charge of initiation, conducting all rituals, and punishments. |
