Biography
Celebration Sage
One of the Apostles of Ouroboros, aka the eight dragons directly under Quaternion. All Apostles' tattoo numbers are 9s.
During religious (read: cult) services, Periander is the one actually carrying out the rituals while Thales reads the scriptures. He is also in charge of inducting recruits and is the one who uses ichor to draw markings on the recruits for initiation rites so that the tattoo can magically appear on them.
His loyalty is... questionable. Since he's a sadist and likes that Quaternion gives him free reign to do whatever he wants in the name of "rituals", he'll probably only be loyal if he can keep doing those "rituals". Therefore, he's also in charge of punishments.
Periander constantly burns a special blend of scented candle that causes dragons that inhale it to become dizzy. The same smoke is emitted from his clawrings. To make himself more noticeable during rituals (since he's slightly jealous of Thales getting most of the attention), he chose bright colours that complemented his own colour scheme. Most of the imagery and patterns on the fabric is also symbolic, but not to Myson's extent.

Learned Sage Taken in by the cult as an orphan and raised to become a loyal Apostle. Typically silent, unless he's discussing and debating scripture. Has memorised it, probably because he wrote it. |

Lucky Sage Wears a mask in conjunction with the cover to fully hide the face. Genuinely believes in the cause; is a "BURN THE HERETIC" kind of fanatic, helps Quaternion decipher The Entity's whispers and visions. |

Golden Sage In charge of finances. Nobody is sure what he's loyal to, but they know it's either the cause, the leader or the money. It's probably the money. |
