Biography

Reap and Sow
If you heard that there was a pair of Aberration brothers working in the gardens, and that their names were Reap and Sow, and one was a reaper and the other a sower, you would be inclined to believe that Reap reaps and Sow sows. But you would be wrong — Reap sows seeds, and Sow works in harvest, although since they share a body, it’s questionable how interchangeable these roles are.

But causing this sort of confusion is Reap and Sow’s specialty. They love messing with the minds of other dragons; they chose the roles in the gardens that they did specifically to mess with their clanmates. Their fellow gardeners have gotten used to their antics, for the most part, but not everybody has, and they think it’s hilarious to watch other dragons try to figure out which head is which dragon, which task which dragon does, and if any of this even matters since they share a body. It’s peak comedy to them.

They’re good at what they do, outside of the practical jokes. Reap is the best seed sower around; his seeds are always in straight lines and clearly marked, and the seeds are always carefully blanketed by the best soil Spice can provide. And Sow is the best harvester, cleanly cutting down wheat and plucking plants and tenderly carrying the harvest to where Summercrisp can take count of it, all while sticking his tongue out at Lamity for being able to harvest things she can’t.

The two of them are, however, quite gross. They’re some of the extremely few dragons within the clan who find Fungus’s burping funny, and they frequently visit Bogwash for his stories about swamp life, and they don’t mind the smell of Disia’s smellatorium; they even frequently request tours from her, which she is delighted to give. The other gardeners have learned to quietly accept this trait, since their gardening skills are so great, and silently thank the Stormcatcher that at least the foul smells from the clanmates they choose to acquaint themselves with haven’t rubbed off on them.
