Teasel inherited her mother's gift as a Dreamer, but not her skill in fighting nightmares. Instead, Teasel paints the fantastic images she sees in the dreams of others. Sometimes her subjects find insight in her art.

It was a surprise to everyone when the reclusive anesthetist Lancet invited her to paint his dreams, and an even bigger surprise (though no one would admit it) when the images turned out to be beautiful. The two found their arts complemented one another, and they became close--or as close as Lancet will let anyone get.
