About Me
Call me Neshomeh. I'm an adult, married, gray-ace, cis woman (she/her). I've been into dragons since I read the
Dragonriders of Pern novels as a young person. I'm also a cat person—and I'm not convinced there's much difference between dragons and cats.

Clan Lore
"Nobody else was using it, so I took it."
That was clan founder
Nephrite's answer when asked why she'd chosen the Pox Consulate region as her family's home.
The land surrounding the Plague embassy had been shunned and neglected since the last ambassador had vanished under mysterious circumstances following the breaking of the Nature-Plague armistice. Verdant growth had run rampant, overtaking the empty husk of the embassy and all its surroundings. It had been perfect for a young Mirror who'd wanted little more than to be left alone.
But things have changed since then.
Her grandson
Ruha leads now, and under his guidance, Nephrite's loose family group has grown into a fully functioning clan. They have restored order to their territory, building proper homes and workshops, and the more worldly and diplomatic members (with Ruha foremost among them) have taken an interest in undoing the damage caused by the unfortunate First Seed incident.
Several clan members are also healers who believe their work doesn't stop at mending bodies. With Ruha's support, his sister
Hildegard, the Surgeon
Galen, and Plague healer
Cuthbert have now established the new
College of Surgeons, where dragons of all flights are welcome to come for treatment or to swear oaths as Surgeons themselves.
