Children of Dawnguards are imbued with an ancient ritual that would forever be passed on their lineages. For each hatch to survive, the parents must pay it's price. These are children claimed by the skies, forever losing their earthly ties. They would be claimed by no one, beholden to no family but each other. Upon nightfall the bond of parenthood are broken and they would swiftly abandon the nest, no longer recognizing their young. Then, in sunrise shall the hatchling emerge to it's golden rays.
