Biography

Miruvoreva has always been a serious and stern dragon from a young age. She found no interest in playing as a hatchling, which often brought her caretakers on the edge of despair. They would try to find ways to engage with young Miruvoreva, but she would quickly grow disinterested after understanding something.
The only thing consistent for her was her admiration of her biological mother and any news of her travels that would reach Waterdeep.

Her caretakers feared that Miruvoreva would turn into a rebel and troublemaker because they could never find a way to connect with her. But contrary to their fears, the young Avariel was one of the most obedient they had ever raised. She always took her duties and tasks seriously and finished them all, trivial or essential, with the same attention to detail and care.

Unlike others who left Waterdeep in search of a better future, Miruvoreva felt only the deepest loyalty to the city and vowed to do anything to make it regain the greatness of the past.
She decided early on to train as a warrior and hone her magical abilities, so the most suitable course of action was for her to sign up as a student at the Crestflame Academy.

She did excel in her studies at the academy, investing a lot of time in studying and her training, earning the right to visit the advanced classes. She was often praised for being so studious and hard-working.
In her remaining free time she searched for different mentors to teach her in physical battle, trying out and acquiring many different styles. Expanding and acquiring knowledge is what drives her.
This included getting to know the world. With Waterdeep being so close to Sornieth now, she decided to travel to study and see that world for herself. After all, she needed to know what to expect from it, what potential allies and foes exist…
Miruvoreva graduated from the academy with exceptional marks and was invited to stay there as a researcher. She accepted the position, still able to gain from her time there.

On another educational journey across Sornieth she met another dragon and she was taken by his strength and extraordinary character.
Miruvoreva struck a deal with the young and ambitious Imperial. She’d leave one of their eggs with him and would take the rest back to Waterdeep.

When she returned to Waterdeep, she brought along four eggs.
Now having a place as a researcher at the academy, she did not have a lot of time, every free minute she had, she used to prepare for her future plans. While traveling she had learned much and was determined more than ever to help Waterdeep regain its glory.

The approach she uses for everything in her life is the same one she uses for her children. When she found time besides her studying and training, she’d visit her offspring and their caretakers. She would inquire about their progress and what they had learned and accomplished, placing a lot of pressure on these young souls. While this was not her intention, she was not able to see that not everyone was like her.
Those who showed promise got her attention, while the rest quickly lost it. She simply had no time to spare to waste it on those without potential. Especially Mirwa and Malek got her attention, and she tried her hardest to make them follow her path to better the future of Waterdeep.
But they never were able to reach the standard she set for them in the end. Disappointed, she dropped her attention from them and moved on, focusing on her goal again, letting them live their life to contribute to Waterdeep in their own way, just not on the same path or as direct support to her as she had initially wished they would.
At this point in her life Miruvoreva only had her goal in mind and unknowingly used her children as tools, not aware of how her treatment was damaging them. It would take many years and meetings for her to recognize this, but by that time, the rift between her and some of her children might already be too big…
