______ The Archmage of Waterdeep, the Blackstaff presides over the arcane defense and settlement of the city, directly advising its Open Lord. On more personal matters, he acts as the ambassador to the Avariel Tribes, having hailed from one though he spent the past few decades traveling the realms. His own complicated relationship with the Drow remains shrouded in rumor, but he stands as an advocate for all those willing to escape the dark confines of their world.

It is a deeply guarded secret that during his younger years, he spent time as their captivity following a raid on his village that left it decimated. He owes his freedom to his mate, just as he owes the scars of his survival to his once-allies.

______ Touched by the Phoenix Goddess, Suzaku, he bears her boon in his striking red wings, and has been known to command the fury of suns in battle. He also carries his little fluff familiar in the hood of his cloak pretty often. He lives with his mate and their family in Blackstaff Tower, enjoys research in the arcane, acrobatic performances, and collecting tiny knives. Everyone needs a hobby.
