Brandr is a tundra with an insatiable need to tinker with everything. He loves inspecting mechanical devices, dismantling them, and learning how they work. Everything new and exciting makes his eyes gleam with passion and sometimes the usually calm tundra can even be seen jumping with glee when the coli team returns from the Golem workshop with a whole bunch of cool stuff!

Brandr's wings work just fine - the mechanical things attached to them are his self-made flight-aid-device, they are supposed to make a dragon fly faster! ... they're still in testing though. At least until they stop setting his fur on fire for long enough to actually try flying. Brandr loves pestering anyone willing to listen, but especially Hemingr and Skarlak, about their wings and flight techniques to help his project along.

Brandr tries his best to write down what he discovers. Really tries. But, being a tundra, he often forgets things. That's one thing that also makes his life so exciting - after forgetting about a thing he already inspected in the past, it's always a great joy to rediscover it and start again.

He can't quite explain it, but something about Lieska makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside. He's constantly caught staring into the distance with a silly smile on his face, but when asked he'll deny everything and say that he was just dreaming of new inventions.

He is fond of mechanical familiars.
