Inevitably Unmannerly Mockingbird Paradise

I've finally found homes for all of my foster dogs, it was really sad to say goodbye to all of them, but it's time to move on. Now, how to decide which way should I go? I would love to play in the snow with the ice dragons, swim with the water dragons, learn all about geology with the earth clans, or study the stars with the archane...I want to go everywhere! I just can't decide where to go first. I know, I'll flip this coin I wear as a necklace...um...uh oh...where did that thing land? I don't see it anywhere...oh well. I guess I'll just close my eyes, spin until I'm about to fall over, and whichever way I end up facing I'll go that way. Oh...oh my...which way is up? I just need a minute for the world to stop spinning. Okay, now that I can focus again, this way it is. I still don't have my bearings enough to know where I'm heading but I'm sure I will figure it out along the way. Perhaps next time I need to find a better way to decide. Still, I'm really excited to be off!!! I sure hope I get to see some dogs along the way!

The Lost Lands

It took probably something like 3 moons, but I finally ran into a small clan out in the forest. Well not a forest anymore, but it was sure covered in wood. Woodland maybe? It didn't matter, since upon arrival I was greeted by the oddest dragon I've ever seen. He looked more like a beast than a dragon! Maybe he was, on second thought. He was followed by a lot of Foo's and Longneck's, all talking about a clock in their clan. Said it got busted and they hadn't found the right parts to fix it yet. I tried my claw in helping, but suffice to say, it was really broken! Like smashed to sand doomed! They still thanked me for the help, and we spent a whole night showing me weird plants in the woodland. One of them tried biting the tuff of my own fur off! I asked the maybe-a-dragon guy where I should head next, and he gave me some kind of pocket watch. It was 09:00, so I followed the direction the hour hand pointed, weaving between the long shadows of those weird leaf-less trees!

The Sun'Brushed
For the first few months, I was pretty ignored by the clan. At some point a lot of dragons started coming in and leaving, as the clan became a temporary mass-training ground for dragons. A giant battle against the Arcane flight was going on, and I saw how it went. After a long week of battles and a lot of dragons sent to serve the Lightweaver, the Light flight won. The next week was a very beautiful week, full of ceremonies and parties. The imperial that hosted me, Shie, was nice enough to help me decorate my house with shiny spherical lanterns and gave me some money to buy some beautiful apparel. Another traveler, Scarlet, sold me a beautiful yellow coat. I've heard her roommate, Indigo, joke about how some of her more expensive coats are made out of Tundras. I am not sure if they are just rumors or true, but I am glad I bought a cheaper one!

Corrosionius

Wandering around this strange, strange land, I ran into someone like me. They had a very strange name just like mine and took care of familiars, just as I did dogs. They called themselves, AsbestosLicker. I asked them if they were carcinogenic, and they said they were surprised I could say such a large word! Rude!

Fáilte Flight
I visited the Fáilte Flight just in time for the opening of their new... tea shop? bar? I wasn't quite sure, but I enjoyed taste-testing everything I could get my claws on!

The Colonnades: The Last Stop

Rumors of exotic animals of all shapes and sizes being sold at a bazaar swirled about my mind as I wandered about the Colonnades of Antiquity. While it disturbed me to know that such animals were being used for profit, I was still driven by a curiosity. I've been travelling for almost a year now, and a part of me misses working with wildlife. I must've looked rather lost, as a strange reddish-pelted wolf came up and began sniffing my toes. I froze, not wishing to harm it. It was almost a quarter of my length, but as an imperial, I had to mind my strength. A sharp whistle came from behind me, "Beetle, heel!" The wolf swiftly turned about, and my gaze followed. "Beetle" had returned to its master's side, and a large and sturdy gaoler nodded in my direction. "My apologies, she gets over-excited." He had a sheepish smile, despite his ferocious set of fangs. "No-no, it's quite alright." I answered. He introduced himself as Keen, and he was taking his wolves, Beetle, Lady and Bug-bug on a walk. I joined him, and I found it was easy to open up to him. He too, had a love for dogs. "I'm just lucky I work with my family... They understand when I need to take a few hours off to take care of them." He gestured to his dogs. I couldn't help but feel jealous, but it was a strange and unnatural feeling for me. Was a family something I really wanted? I ended up staying with him for a few nights in return for me walking his wolves everyday. I hadn't felt this relaxed in a long time. Meeting his family members somehow made me more jealous, so I left within a week or so.

Oculus Clan
I visited a hardware store in the Arcane flight where I met Sonya. She used to be a traveler, too! I would stop by her store to share travel stories and pet the dogs that customers would sometimes bring inside. But I mostly wanted to see her, even if she put me to work reaching the high shelves and helping smaller dragons carry supplies. Somehow she made it fun! I even took a stone carving class and carved a statue of a running dog. I gave it to Sonya so she could put it outside of the store.
