Ophiuchus

- A sign that Vesper's light lineage is not entirely lost, Ophiuchus' (also known as Ophi), pale scales and eyes of lavender with flecks of gold make it clear that the lightweaver has not forgotten her children
- Ophi is no fighter, much more content to be lost in the halls of his personal library, but he is trained, as are all of Vesper's children, and he has a mean tail whip
- It was initially believed that Ophi possessed no elemental magic of his own, but, after a trip to the Sunbeam Ruins, it was realised that Ophi can utilise light magic when not within the Tangled Wood

» THE FINAL DEFENDERS OF SHAL'ANIR «

Below are listed the survivors of Shal'anir's devastation who have sworn to give up their very lives to remain within the shaded behemoth's shadow so that none may suffer as they have. Some dragons remain below, deep within Her boughs to heal the damage that has been done, while a select few now serve as the only connection between the tree and the rest of the Tangled Wood, for they are the only ones given privy to leave and enter through a twisting path of deadly thorns that block any other would-be visitors.

The wyverns of old that once heeded Shal'anir's call are, at a glance, seemingly no more. One wyvern's skeletal remains can even be seen forever speared upon the gargantuan brambles that surround the tree. However, one wyvern still rules the midnight skies above alongside her chosen, and her huge form blanketing the stars above serves as the only warning intruders will receive before being cast aflame.
