MintChocolate

MintChocolate used to never feel at home. Nowhere was completely comfortable. It was as if a wall was between him and all other dragons. This was not due to other dragons ostracizing him, but instead his own anxieties breaking down all forms of communication. This would have stayed that way too. Until one day...

Like a blur, the wildclaw was there in a flash. The fae stopped screaming at the sight of her hero having arrived. Small, glowing yellow eyes pierce the darkness as a mirror dragon slipped from the shadows. The wildclaw growled, placing sharpened claws atop the fae's head. The mirror and wildclaw stare at one another. With one hand outstretched, the wildclaw forms finger guns and mimics taking aim at the mirror. With narrowed eyes, the mirror leaps to strike! In one swift, practiced movement the wildclaw drew his gun. One shot. That was all that was needed to save the damsel in distress.

When the play was over, MintChocolate had an epiphany. He was not confident. He was not practiced, had no real friends...but he could. Or rather, he could if he was more like his new hero. And thus was born MintChocolate the Cowboy! Confident, cocky, and sometimes just as clumsy or nervous as he was when he was younger. But the difference now is his friends and family wouldn't have him any other way.

Despite adopting a ‘cool-guy’ act, he’s actually a shy sweetheart but is afraid to admit it, though he practically melts at the touch of any gentle dragon that holds his claws =w=

- does finger guns unironically
- 100% has almost stepped on tulip on multiple occasions
- got his bracelet from some friend he has no memory of from when he was younger
- sometimes he paints his big claw pink to match tulip

This date was an absolute nightmare.

Curse the inevitable power outages that came with large thunderstorms.

MintChocolate curled his tail around his partner, the two cuddled under a blanket with a massive hoard of stuffed animals surrounding them. Though he wouldn't admit it, he was absolutely, positively, terrified.

What he thought was his tough exterior did nothing to fool RocketPop. What, was he supposed to act like he couldn't feel MintChocolate shaking at his side? As much as he was used to the tough act he put on, there was a sort of comfort brought by knowing they shared the same fears. The number of things they had in common was always surprising. He could remember the joy it brought him the moment he learned MintChocolate had a plush collection of his own. And now, despite his fear, there was a small smile brought to his face at the thought that perhaps his partner wasn't so tough after all.

Mint Chocolate has been dying to say "This town ain't big enough for the two of us" for the longest time, but the opportunity has yet to come up.

MintChocolate has been trying to get his mantis Tulip an acting gig for ever since he taught him how to do tricks and he won't ever stop until some FINALLY sees the pure talent they have before them.
