Though his towering stature and dry, crackly voice do nothing to help Bonfire's intimidating appearance, the softhearted Gaoler wishes for nothing more than to put a smile on other dragons' faces. To this end, he has taken up residence in the Popcorn Palace movie theater as one of the concessions stand workers, where he hopes his coloration brings to mind candy apples and popcorn rather than the horror-movie gore occasionally seen onscreen. Paired with his fellow concessions worker (and one of his many mates) SweetTooth, this unusual duo makes for a surprisingly efficient team behind the counter, making sure every last theatergoing dragon's hunger is satisfied before they take their seats, and the show begins. Strangely, ever since the two became permanent fixtures at the concessions counter, the theater has seen a significant uptick in snack sales around Halloween, and neither dragon is quite sure why.

  • Despite his best efforts, Bonfire can't seem to get the smell of buttery popcorn out of his fur
  • He loves to try weird popcorn combinations, from buffalo ranch to s'mores. Whether he likes them all is a different story
  • If a new movie has a plushie when it hits the box office, Bonfire always sets aside one for himself to buy and take home after his night at the concession.
  • he hates spoilers, he doesn't get angry, though definitely huffy and disappointed.
