Hikaru, ever since birth, has been a follower. Despite being the eldest of her siblings, she has always trailed behind them, whether it be her spotlight-hogging sister Eira or her spontaneous-like brother Zaulen. She conformed to them, creating a new persona around everyone she met. As she grew up, she learned that her mother was a traveler; she didn't live inside the strange mystical place called the Kingdom that was all Hikaru knew. Wisp, her biological father, was more like an uncle to her - a Coatl named Borealis was more of her other mother. Like her mother, Hikaru wanted to see the world. But she didn't yearn to meet her mother like her siblings did; no, she wanted to find a place and role to call her own. She didn't know what she wanted to be, or even who she was truly. One day, a mysterious Skydancer named Eon stayed with Wisp for a while, and the two got to chatting. Then, Eon offered a proposal: Hikaru set off with him before her siblings, and go and see the world. Now of age, Hikaru accepted, and set off with the Skydancer known as Eon. I got separated from Eon on my travels! In the Plaguelands, there are so many dangers, from roaming raiders to mutated beasts wear the skin of their victims. One of those, a rough beast of cloth and teeth, tried to attack me! I had to run away, into the dusty meat-swamp. I found my way out, but I lost my friend. I will try to find him, but I do not know if I can.  |
