Eira is an attention-seeker. No, she is not ashamed to admit it: she loves the spotlight and everything about it. She wasn't ashamed to demand attention from her biological father Wisp nor her other mother, Borealis. The two (finding it actually pretty funny and/or endearing) obliged the little hatchling, but it wasn't long before she started to reach out to the rest of the Kingdom. But even an entire clan wasn't enough. The urge to travel - the very urge her mother and all travelers possessed - boiled in her blood, along with the need to be recognized by every dragon and all dragons. With her elder sister Hikaru already having left with another traveler, she and her brother Zaulen packed up and left, the female of the duo basically in charge of her goldfish-brained brother. So they journeyed, looking for their mother and for their own personal reasons. Eira made her way to Light territory with fellow Traveler Twix and was greeted by Sunrise, a young dragon traveling from her home lair for the first time. After arriving at Adrasteia's Alabaster Palace, Eira said goodbye to Twix and went to make her own mischief... Despite its location near Luminax's Wake, this territory was pretty safe due to the presence of many powerful warriors and mages including Adrasteia herself. Of course, attention-seeking Eira had to make her mark on this somewhat severe place. She would head over to the training grounds at the Alabaster Palace and would distract the training warriors and their mentors. Though sometimes annoying, her presence often brought some needed levity. She took to seeking attention from Kirakira, a powerful water mage similar in age to herself. Wiser than her own goldfish-brained brother, getting this Imperial to emit a chuckle or exacerbated sigh at her antics often brought Eira a lot of satisfaction! After some months of bliss and fun in Light territory, Eira once again felt that urge to travel. She had about reaped as much satisfaction as she could at being in the spotlight at the Alabaster Palace. All the citizens knew her and would ask her about what antics she had planned - and to be honest it was getting a little old. She after all had still not found her mother. It was time to move along... Eira travelled North, across land and sea, until she found herself deep within the Viridian Labyrinth. She didn't stop until she reached the very cusp of the land she knew. She discovered a strange clan sequestered in the Worldedge Wetlands, passing a traveller known as Asiri along her way. On finding the clan, she made quite an entrance, splashing gloriously through the mangrove swamps until she came across a trio of excitable Undertide siblings, Aleutia, Nansei, and Yap, who were immediately enamoured by her presence, winding themselves curiously around her as they clamoured to make their introductions. It was soon made clear to Eira that she had found these dragons in the midst of a celebration! Of course, she simply could not resist joining the festivities. She offered to perform for the clan in return for their hospitality, and delighted in their cheers and applause. While feasting with her new friends, Eira wondered aloud about her next destination, and her companions were quick to offer their suggestions. She heard tales of wonderful dragons from seemingly every corner of the world. She learned of Pearlcatchers in the Molten Scar, and Snappers in the Frigid Floes. Eira slept that night with a full belly and that traveller's itch deep in her heart. She yearned for more tales of her own and departed early the next morning, bidding this thunder of new fans and allies farewell as she headed swiftly on for a new adventure.
