"The dreams were never something that Shilo could control. Not completely. Despite her meticulous attention to detail, there was always something unexpected about the dreams she wove upon the great Star Scryer. Perhaps it was the influence of Oneiric itself, or her master who whispered the strange ideas for the dreams into her mind. Perhaps, in the end, they simply assumed a life all their own.

The dreams that Shilo wove were imbued with the Star Scryer's magic, and much like Oneiric they assumed the shape of great drakes within the dreamscape. Their forms embodied the strange dreams that they represented and Shilo thought of them much like children for once she had finished weaving them, she had little control over what they became. The possibilities frightened her and she attempted to tend the dreams as best she could, yet some still slipped from her grasp and fell to nightmarish tendencies.

The fourth was a dream about sentiment. It wandered between the minds of restless sleepers whose subconscious still searched for something long lost to time. Some memento from their pasts. In their dreams, they rifled through old boxes in a cobweb-covered attic. . . searching for something tucked away in the storage of their minds. When they awoke, it was to find a new awareness for that which they had lost. . . knowledge of the location of some old relic that had not crossed their mind for many years.
