Zenthra cannot remember for the life of him if there was ever a time before the Organization. Mind-breaking "training", forced to commit atrocities against those he foolishly cared about, the experimenting, the list goes on. Zenthra almost lost sight of what he was living for multiple times, but it was the other dragons he roomed with that were the ones that kept him on track. One cannot survive here by simply floating around with no purpose or drive, one must find a reason to live and fight like hell to remember it. For Zenthra, it was the legacy of his bloodline. The fact that a mighty rifter like Allison, who's been through physical and mental torture enough times to instantly kill anyone weaker than she, could not only escape but build her own refuge and paradise is awe-inspiring to him.

But, as stupid as it sounds, Zenthra needs to rely on others to survive. Not only physically, but emotionally too. Someone who will let him cry on their shoulder, someone to bandage his wounds, someone who will be the reason why Zenthra pushes through each grueling day. Dragons like Imriel, his longest living friend and his sister Starrunner, Ivoryclaw, Shery, Duke, and countless others that have lost the battle for survival over the years. And even though her mind broke years ago, he lives for own sister, Toxicscream, and his deceased younger brother, Lycus.
