More sickly than her siblings, Circatriz's two brothers and their mutual friend Daeben always tried to include her - albeit carefully - in everything they did, regardless. Being bedridden whenever she used too much of her magic and seeing things taking an interest in her that...simply freaked her out, she turned to science. When her brothers read books on magical theory, she read books on engineering, and when they went adventuring she looked for wires and metal while her siblings looked for spirits. And when her brothers and Daeben left their home and settled in Portalpoint, she found a home making technology to be blessed and used by both Witchborne and those like her who struggle with their magical abilities. That isn't to say she's given up on magic entirely, but she's happy leaving spirits and magic entirely to others while she's able to get some amount of peace and quiet working on her newest project. She inherited more of her father's side than her mother's, her Elemental heritage making it easy for her to cast powerful magics - but in turn leaving her bedridden as her body struggles to replenish the magic she's used. Being only a quarter of an Elemental, she's more or less fully draconic, with magic that replenishes itself, albeit slowly, and an inability to properly 'eat' Lesser Elementals (she's tried). With very careful experimentation, she is capable of channeling magic from other Light Dragons, letting her train in magic usage, but even then that tends to leave her (and her help) exhausted. As far as her magic abilities go when she's forced to use them, she can utilize chaos magic about as well as an untrained Witchborne, and is equally gifted in Light Magic abilities. As for other Witchborne abilities, she's found that she can't Whisper or Silence, just as the other aspects of Witchborne and Elemental abilities are completely out of her reach. December, the Cold MoonMeanwhile other Witchborne could make themselves immaterial or charm speak their way through to get information, those dragons born under the Cold Moon are quite desperately sought after as they are blessed with two abilities: to silence, muting the physical sound around them, and to whisper - directly into the mind. In Silence, they are able to create it, but distance, mass and precision depends upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of the dragon. Meanwhile, Whispers are able to manipulate, read, and sometimes fully control the minds of other dragons within reach. As with the first ability, the strength and depth of this ability depends on training and talent, with the strongest whispers able to fully possess all corners of an opponent's brain, reading their thoughts or controlling their actions without their opponent even knowing. Any of these two abilities make them formidable in combat and reconnaissance, but even most rarer, and deadlier, are those who possess both.
