Biography
[WIP]
"Um, well. I should introduce myself properly. My name is Dahlia Cohen, and I manage the archive here. Mostly the physical one. I organize records and act as Tamidu's scribe. I, uh, also transcribe our records to make digital copies."
A brief silence falls between the two of you as Dahlia struggles to find more to say.
"Um, you're free to stay here for as long as you please. If you want to see the digital copies, you can use the computer downstairs."
The skydancer glances at the clock on the wall, and then looks down at a notepad on her desk. She thinks for a moment before turning to fully face you.
"Alright. What do you want to know?"
"Fine enough, I guess," Dahlia huffs. "No one here is stupid enough to go around causing trouble. Most of us just mind our own business-- I mean, except for Juniper." Dahlia scowls and adjusts her glasses.
"Those two have never created any real issues for anyone, but they act like if they'll die if they don't go around wedging themselves in everyone's business. If there wasn't a lock on this door, they'd be coming in and out as they please, asking way too many questions. At least Carnelian's here. It's good to have a close friend to talk to, especially on this damn island."
"Oh. Well, Carnelian and I used to call each other on a regular basis, but one day, he suddenly stopped picking up the phone... I traveled all the way to his home in Lanternlea Port because I was afraid that something happened to him. His neighbors said that some time ago he traveled off the coast, south away from the Beacon of the Radiant Eye, and never came back. I followed after him, and accidentally got caught up in this place." Dahlia grimaces.
"At least I know he's okay now."
"I was a news editor. It was pretty similar to what I do now; writing, revising, nitpicking, double-checking... a lot of that sort of stuff. I wouldn't say I liked that job, but I didn't hate it either. Not that any of that really matters anymore."
"...What is this, an interview?" the skydancer frowns at you. "Look, I'm fine with questions about the archive, but if you're just here to ask about my life, can you please leave?"
"I hope so. Gods, I really, really, hope so. The longer that awful god is around, the more everyone suffers."
"Oh, um, no problem. Wait, can let me know if you see any typos? I swear I see one I missed every time I read one of those records..."

Most of the records do not yet have a digital version. I'm currently prioritizing the more important records for transcription. If you need a record that is not yet in the database and you can't find it in the archive, come to me; I might have it in my office for transcription. If you have any tech-related questions, please find November-- I'm afraid I won't be able to provide much help on that front.

» PALVI A minor goddess of charity as well as The Fallen One's head priestess. Once her most devout follower, Palvi's feelings about her deity have soured into outright hatred following Adrienne's betrayal of her trust and theft of her powers. The spiral still continues their routine prayers, but to whom? |
» HARUKO Neirin's governor finds that she's been experiencing a lot of unexplained deja vu as of late. Not only does she find familiarity in things completely novel to her, but memories that contradict what she knows about herself keep surfacing. According to the governor of Kaito, there's an important reason behind that. |
» DOREMI The head of the department of commerce is arguably one of Adrienne's most dangerous employees, and for good reason; Doremi is responsible for securing the funding for Adrienne's research projects, and they do so remarkably well. Were it not for the nocturne, Adrienne would not have nearly as many things at her disposal in her arsenal. |
» RHAPSODY This mute musician holds an unbreakable friendship with Haruko. Above everything, Rhapsody wants the spiral to be safe and happy, and she'll do what it takes to make this a reality. Even it if means keeping a big secret from her. |
» DEMI A merciless warrior and one of Adrienne's adoptive daughters. Demi's thirst for blood is only outmatched by her desire for love and recognition from her mother-- a desire that she is never quite able to fully satisfy, it seems. |
» RYNKA Rynka should've just been another one of Samhain's targets. Another name on the list from Adrienne. They fell to the skydancer's blade like all the others, after all. But it seems that even death won't keep Samhain's doubts from haunting her. |
» EILWYN The vast majority of the clan buys into Adrienne's facade, and Eilwyn is one of them. But her situation is not as bad is it may seem. After all, the price of knowing the truth is often the feeling of despair, and Eilwyn is quite happy as she is. Ignorance is indeed bliss, especially in The League of Valor. |
» ADNACHIEL Thanks to their insatiable thirst for power, Adnachiel finds themself bound to Adrienne's side. In exchange for magic training and genetic alterations, the wildclaw serves as the head of the department of external affairs, which keeps watch of Adrienne's enemies. Adnachiel hates Adrienne with a passion, but when the beast within voices its demands and the skydancer is the only one who can help, they have no choice but to serve her. |
» KEKEPANIA As one of Adrienne's many scouts, Kekepania knows part of the truth: The Fallen One plans to wage war against The Lightweaver. Kekepania doesn't particularly care about why The Fallen One is intent on doing so. What she does care about, though, is that her closest friend will get caught in the crossfire. But knowing the truth is just as dangerous as remaining ignorant, and leaving the clan for good is near impossible. Is there really anything she can do to keep her friend safe? |
» MYRIA An alchemist with a deep obsession with the eleven elemental deities. She is attempting to turn herself into a deity through her research in order to join them among their ranks someday. |
» OSTARA Description pending. |
» KEION Description pending. |
» ARENE Although Adrienne's grasp does not reach him, Arene refuses to leave the clan, because that would mean leaving his wife, Artemis, behind. Instead, he stays within the shadows, carefully sowing the seeds for Adrienne's downfall. |
» ARTEMIS Years ago, Artemis was pushed into making a deal with Adrienne that would eventually result in the creation of The League of Valor. Forced to act as its puppet leader, the coatl has no choice but to watch Adrienne's influence spread, unable to do anything to stop her. |

» SAMHAIN As Aster's governor and self-proclaimed queen, Samhain will not hesitate to use force to get what she wants. Fiercely loyal to her adoptive mother, Adrienne, Samhain will carry out any and all orders from them no matter how absurd they may be. But just because she acts loyal doesn't mean that she doesn't have any doubts about her mother... |
» ACCALIA This wolf-headed skydancer is second-in-command of the rebellion. But considering the amount of work she does and the constant negligence of the leader, Alnair, she might as well be the one in charge of the whole thing. Accalia would never claim so, of course, nor would she even dare to think about it. After all, why question the person who saved your life? |
