"Naaannaaa~"

"Nyala," the elderly imperial corrects her gently, bending her large frame down so the tip of her nose booped the hatchling's nose.

"Nanna!" she repeats joyfully, jumping up to follow after Nyala's retreating head for another boop. Nyala rolls her eyes, but she lowers her neck to allow the hatchling to give her kisses.

That is, until she tries flicking a tongue into her nostrils.

"KATARINA," Nyala growls warningly, but the little one rolls around playfully in peals of laughter. She gives an exasperated sigh, but everyone knows she will not hold her frustrations for long against her favourite dragon in the clan.
