The drop in air pressure made flying much smoother, much to the giddiness of a group of travelling dragons. Enjoying that the wind backing their journey, they decide to push further through the night before finding a place to rest their wings.

Something's not right.

"There is a storm incoming... we should find shelter," the young imperial speaks up, concerned.

"The sky is calm and the wind is in our favour, we will reach Starwood Strand soon enough," snaps the leader, while the others murmur in agreement. Scornful whispers amongst his travel-mates about his assumed element reach him, unpleasant as they could be. It only takes the imperial a brief moment of hesitation before he starts preparing himself to glide for a descent. "We shall part ways here, smooth winds to you all."

Making a rapid detour into the Scarred Wasteland instead, he finds a group of dragons on their way home and decides to join them. Looking back at the sky above, the rapidly growing storm engulfs the previous group he travelled with in their midst.

Tempest takes off his goggles to take a clearer last look at the lightning-filled sky, gentle green eyes tinted with sadness. He who loved flying around the windmills and battling against the storms of the Twisting Crescendo with his siblings would know how an incoming storm feels.

They shouldn't have assumed.
