Nyala {火焰} Embers ~ The Wanderer Antala she was, Nyala she is now. Perhaps she owned another name in the past, but that slips through her fading memories. Perhaps her wandering days are over, perhaps she found a clan that she could rest and call a permanent home at last... Solemnly she sits at her desk, quil in claw, a look of concentration upon her visage.  Skander Sundew, Lucian, Coldstorm, Permafrost - Plague Her first love, a passionate and fiery one. She was never fooled by those gentle wind eyes - he was a Plague dragon through and through. Their short fling did not last long, yet she finds it amusing that after all their disputes over the location of their lair - that she ended up in the lands of the Plaguemother once more.  Ulmo Lailyn, Kevoth, Airandara - Lightning Ceren, Vers - Light Her next love happened during her travels to the Shifting Expanse. The eloquent, poetic clan musician had many charms, and she was enthralled by his wisdom and gift of song. While they went their separate ways not long after, they would rekindle their romance in the Sunbeam Ruins before wanderlust took over her once more. She hums the tunes he once sang for her absentmindedly from time to time, a gentle smile reserved for him alone.   Dremoir & Valdrin Capade, Ira - Crandal, Saphira - Lightning Of course, there was a time when two friends vied for her attention... she liked them both, but for the sake of their worsening friendship, decided to take off yet again. Nyala never looked back, and was glad to know that they eventually reconciled, and were still living together in the same clan.  Turon Rochel, Azure - Light There was always something charming about the Sunbeam Ruins, that made her unable to leave as she wandered from clan to clan, meeting new dragons. Turon was the strong, silent type - patient in showing her his craft, yet tender in expressing his love. Yet her wild heart was not to be tamed, and she moved on before she could cause him anymore pain. His pained look as she left still haunts her.  Jiroma Cambrie, Duerdine - Light Galiya, Jinna, Buccellati, Dai - Light In another sun-kissed lair, she met him. Beautifully scarred, young and wild, Jiroma reminded her very much of her old flame Skander. Together they had many a mad caper, singing lively songs and wrecking mayhem wherever they went. It was ultimately the clan leader's decision to exile her, due to their bad influence on each other - for the sake of peace within the clan.  Renas Darkshadow, Teotha - Light An inventor decided to comfort Nyala when she was feeling depressed over losing Jiroma. Being grateful for the attention, she stayed with Renas for a brief period before thanking him and moving on.  Revenauld Myria, Hasil, Golan - Light Quick, Perspicuus, Ragnufel - Light And then there was this...Revenauld. Being a nocturne, he was good at mimicking her ex-lovers as she told him about them. It was amusing and he was a dear, but being with him just brought back too many memories that she ran away when it became too much to bear.  Arogal Eridani, Yora, Deazel - Light Last but not least... she stopped recording, lost in thought. A tear rolled down her scales, narrowly missing the parchment and landed on her claw instead. Arogal. He was the strongest and wisest of dragons she ever lost her heart to, but perhaps the only one whose heart remained unmoved by her. He was the leader of their clan, beloved by all and well known for being kind-hearted and loyal. All of which amplified her shock by thousand fold when Arogal insisted that she was to leave him and his clan. Perhaps he was being kind, not to bind her to a place when her love of exploring and wandering was so great. But yet... but yet... if he had shown the slightest regret in his decision, she would have stayed...

Carefully, lovingly, she recites their names once more - searing them into her memory while she smoothens the parchment carefully with her scaly claw. Alas, she might never meet them again... but at least, all of them would be kept within her heart. It would not do to forget.
