Vitus is a strange dragon, he acts aggressive and tough but has never actually hurt anyone and has zero fighting training. He spends most of his time outside the lair working on a garden that he and Ninella put together. Though they haven't had much success in this, probably because they live in a desert. They have managed to keep one cactus alive. They named this cactus 'Spiky Desert Dominator'.
Vitus is also the go to for secrets. Everyone trusts him with their secrets and he hears all the gossip. He has never once shared a secrets that he wasn't supposed to. This is probably due to the fact that he is very self centered and really does not care that much about what other people say to him, he just nods his head and pretends to listen. He doesn't share his own problems with other dragons either, not even his best friend Ninella.
Sometimes he likes to sneak into the hatchery to bully and intimidate the hatchling, but whenever Betty catches him in there she reports him to Hezakia who then puts him on cleaning duty for the week. He was the second dragon in the clan (the first was Nathaniel) who was banned from entering the hatchery. (Boreas is also banned.)
