Ahahahaha! A shooting star... Winewings is not particularly affected by the Arcane warp, but has insisted in gathering up as much Arcane energy as possible for future experimentation. Hyskerekk has attempted to make her desist, but she doesn't have enough time or attention to make anything stick. * Winewings is fascinated by the aether, and delighted to learn the Arcane warp was an accident rather than an attack. Both Tarandrus's guest and Nightforest's prisoner have been forced to assent to a barrage of questions and to serving as artistic subjects. * Even Greenskeeper Gathering hasn't particularly interrupted Winewings's projects with the aether. Yskerryth has asked her, somewhat dryly, if she is looking for a breedchange scroll. Worryingly, she hasn't responded. |

Winewings is the slightly-older of the Twins, Cindercone Clan's chaotic first hatchlings. She and her brother, Gloaming, are rarely far from each other, and usually up to some sort of trouble. They are avid explorers, experimenters, and general trouble-makers. The sort of dragon who manages to glue googly-eyes to Terreskara's helmet, successfully blame the deed on the local corven, and then get caught laughing about it later. Underneath her playful, ridiculous exterior, Winewings is a resilient dragon with a sharp intuition and a shockingly good understanding of the social webs surrounding dragons both within the clan and outside of it. On the rare occasions that she spends time making something, Winewings is a capable artist, fond of bold expressions and bright colors. While unerringly friendly to even the most irritable of her clanmates, Winewings is truly close with her twin, though she is known to form mischief-making bands with fellow miscreants Scrap, Nightshade, Teorol before his disappearance, Arietty, and most often Tellikys. Physical description Winewings is a somewhat big, lanky mirror with relatively short wings. Despite their differences in size and proportion, she bears a striking resemblance to her brother, Gloaming. She is rarely still, twitching her whip-like tail when idle and tearing about faster than she really needs to. She is rapid but clumsy on the ground or in the water, and has an inelegant, gliding flight when aloft. She smells strongly of smoke and, usually, mud. Combat Winewings is a surprisingly formidable fighter, being the second-highest-ranked Fire dragon in the clan proper. She has a fast, frenetic method of fighting, wearing her opponents down with a variety of powerful blows, and usually fights alongside Fortune and Ithiliisahn, though this is difficult now that they are in the Rogue's Camp. |

Kin Winewings is the daughter of Elkrekeodh and Hiirkaen, the clan's founders. Her ancestry is unrecorded and largely mysterious, and she has produced no blood children of her own. However, the Twins have conspired to drag home several waifs and strays, notably Beebalm and Azaeleus, who might be considered honorary adoptees. She also bore a deep affection for the now-Exalted Maris, somewhat of her adoptive mother, and still wears a magically-shrunk pair of the imperial's boots. |

Familiar
Splash was one of the first creatures Winewings saw after her trip through time, and they immediately bonded. They spent much time exploring the swamps and underwater passages of the Plague/Shadow border, though since the move to Fire their relationship has been more strained.
