The Foundling
The greatest beauty lies in destruction. A shooting star... Scrap is ailing. With her own element suppressed and her acid production stepped up, she is for once her own primary victim. Pools and puddles of greenish sulfuric acid litter her scrap of black coast, and she moves restlessly from place to place, covered in burns both acid and Arcane in origin. * Scrap is finally feeling better as Greenskeeper Gathering breaks. She has slunk off into the mountains to finish recovering. |

Exactly what Scrap is to Cindercone Clan is a mystery. A roving shadow at the borders of clan territory, she was previously the feral child of the Rogue's Camp. She dwelled in the fringes, hunting vermin and stealing shiny things from inattentive guests. The local talanok taught her to fly, but did not win her over. Without friends or cause, Scrap seems to have turned to more and more destructive pastimes, though the possibility that she was influenced by someone in the clan is disconcerting. During her first Flameforger's Festival, Scrap became fused with a crucible made for a Fire dragon and managed to keep it working. Her ability to use her birth element is permanently impaired, leaving her unable to use her Shadow sight to navigate in pitch dark, obscure objects, or do other minor feats that Shadow dragons take for granted. She has a small hoard of bits of metal, bird and rodent skulls, and torn bits of fabric, often somewhat singed. Charge As yet, Scrap neither has a Charge nor has seemed to be drawn to the Search. Physical Description Scrap is a big, lean guardian with cracked, metallic hide and a weathered, acid-eaten appearance. Her eyes are proportionately large and unusually pale. She has a fast, slinking method of movement overland, and a fast, direct flight with particularly loud wingbeats. Her natural gamey scent is largely overwhelmed by the crucible's smoke and the caustic scent of acid. Combat Scrap is a strong and feisty fighter, relying more on speed and agility than strength. She is remarkably hard to hit, though her elemental attacks are weak and smoky. |

Origin Scrap was the Rogue's Camp's resident feral child. While she cannot remember her earliest days, she has the faint sense that Liglanaerr was both there at her hatching, and tried to send her on unsuccessfully. Scrap trailed in the background of the rogue clan for two cycles, hunting vermin and sidling off with shiny things stolen from ill-attentive guests. During her first Flameforger's Festival, Scrap became fused with a crucible made for a Fire dragon—and somehow managed to keep it working. |
