Auroros was not the first one in Clan AXQU whose sight was blessed by the Icewarden, but he was the first to hatch from Clan AXQU nests. Being the son of the lair's top armsmaster and a noble lady with many illustrious pedigrees to her name, and also the chosen breed of Clan AXQU's former god, all combined to make Auroros' birth seem like a blessing ordained by their new god. For his own part, Auroros isn't super sure about all that, but his uncommon mastery of his element and his (so far infallible) weather-sense lend credence to the idea. Auroros' own combat style is a sort of hybrid battlemage affair, best optimized for working ley-lines and stomping out Shade pockets, but he's the sort of guy whose personal preference is for night-shift guard duty. He personally is very very shy and exceedingly selective about who he chooses to spend his free time with. Auroros often finds that nothing is the best possible thing he can say, which lets others freely project onto him as they wish. Remarkably light on his feet for such a large dragon, those who are fond of overlong conversation often find that Auroros is already gone by the time they finish their next sentence. If he allows someone in, though, they'll find a wry sense of humor and a mind that's several times more observant than anyone's given him credit for. The insulating silence of freshly-fallen snow is Auroros' preferred mental state and social speed. The local Longneck consider him some sort of mythical nocturnal demon. Auroros loves this. |
